Don H. McKinney

Born May 11, 1943. Passed away April 3, 2011
Don held a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics from SMU and retired from Dr Pepper Parent Company where he worked for 30 years.

Survived by his wife of 48 years Carol Christine McKinney, son Phillip Don McKinney, daughter-in-law Theresa Lynn McKinney, brother Ed McKinney, Sister-in-law Nancy Alvarez, brother-in-law Oscar Alvarez-Soto, endeared friend William Krapek and Don’s beloved Dog Blondie.

Don was an animal lover and his interests included science, photography, astronomy, and bird watching.

His remains will be cremated and no services are planned.

Friends wishing to send remembrances are requested by the family to donate to the SPCA of Dallas in Don’s name in lieu of flowers.
