HAMMONDS, William "Don"- Age 69, Franklin, April 24, 2012. He enjoyed a long career with Ford Motor Company later becoming an International Representative with United Auto Workers (UAW). Preceded in death by parents Carl Nelson and Ruby Hammett Hammonds. Survived by his wife, Judy Hammonds; children, Melissa Russell, Kimberly Comer (Mike), Donna Hayes (Philip), Anne Katherine Tyoan (Paul) and Samuel McGee (Nicole); grandchildren, Rachel Smithson, Brooke Russell, Tiffany Holt, Michael Comer, Kristen Comer, Russell Hayes, Yasmine Tyoan, Louae Tyoan, Austin McGee and Colton McGee; great-grandchildren, Aidan Russell, Kenzie, Rylie and Landon Holt; brother, Reverend Larry Hammonds (Linda). A life celebration service will be at 2pm on Friday, April 27, 2012 at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to the March of Dimes.
