Mr. Murl Don Scott, age 75, of Monticello, GA passed away February 1, 2012. Don was born in Blanchard, OK the son of the late Lenore June Rust Scott and Frank Don Scott. He worked as an accounting supervisor for Navistar before his retirement. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, watching movies on TV, music, the lake, boating and fast cars. He is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Kimberly and Robbie Rodriguez of Jenkinsburg and Robyn and Michael Mitchell of Houston, TX; grandchildren, Jeff Rodriguez, Brandon Rodriguez, Ethan Mitchell and Chloe Mitchell; great granddaughter, Alivia Rodriguez; sister, Sherry Arnett of OK. A visitation for Don Scott will be Saturday, February 4, 2012- 5 – 7:00 Pm at the funeral home. Funeral service will be on Sunday, February 5, 2012 – 2:00 PM in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home with Pastor Bobby Wood officiating. Interment will follow at Locust Grove Cemetery.
