Kaba, Don W., 64, went home to join his Lord on December 10, 2011 and gave the gift of life through organ donation. He was born September 4, 1947 to George and Virginia (Strouse) Kaba in Hays, KS. He was in the Air Force for four years, serving in Japan and Turkey. Don worked as a sales representative for Robert's Truck Center until April of this year. He had a real appreciation for antique cars. In his free time, Don enjoyed gardening and canning the fruits of his labor. He and his wife enjoyed ballroom dancing and vacationed extensively throughout the world. He was preceded in death by his mother, Virginia (Strouse) Gulickson. Don is survived by his wife of 42 years, Georgia; father, George Kaba; step-mother, Clarice Kaba; step-father, Gordon Gulickson; siblings, Kent (Janna) Kaba, William (Elizabeth) Kaba, Jeffery (Cindy) Kaba, Kerri (Mike) Smith, Tim (Mary) Kaba, and Judy (Doug) Frahm; step-brothers, Bill (Gabe) Gulickson, Ron Gulickson, and Tony (Tammi) Gulickson; and many extended family members. Memorial service: 2 pm, Saturday at Faith Baptist Church 1408 W 34th Street S, Wichita, KS 67217 (2 blocks west of Seneca). Memorial contributions may be made to the National Parkinson Foundation or Faith Baptist Church.
