Donald Alan Ritcherson was born October 16, 1950 in Austin, Texas to the late James and Doris Ritcherson. He attended the Austin Public Schools and Southwest Texas State University (Texas State) in San Marcos, Texas where he was a member of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity. Donald grew up in Simpson United Methodist Church and accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior. He was employed by Coors of Austin, Texas. When his health declined he became employed by Yellow Cab Company. He loved people and being of service to them. He loved his family, children, grandchildren, sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. He was the epitome of comedic humor at family and friends' gatherings. Donald was preceded in death by parents James and Doris Ritcherson, brothers James, Robert, Michael, Kenneth and Reginald. To continue his memory he leaves his children, Kevin (Martha), Donald James (DJ), and Kaitlyn; grandchildren Alexis, Stephen, Jr., J'Vaughn, Trinity and Genesis; the mothers of his children, Gayle and Patricia; his brothers and sisters, Adrienne, Phillip, Jamie (Donnie), Millicent (Kenneth), Regina, Nathaniel (Aiesha) and Stephanie (Walber); uncle Lewis H. Ritcherson (Velma Joyce); aunts Teresa Ritcherson and Billie Cox; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
