Donald F. Bucklew age 79 a resident of Sterling Heights, MI for 45 years died suddenly at McLaren Macomb in Mt. Clemens Thursday , May 3, rd 2012. Born December 20, 1932 in Cumberland, Maryland the son of Samuel M. and Marie M.(nee Senkbeil)Bucklew. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of American Legion Post 0004 Mt. Clemens. Donald was employed with the Square Deal Electrical Company in Detroit as an elictrical engineer. He is survived by his wife of 47 years Mary M.(nee Theisen). Step-daughters Jean(Clay)Rocker, Gerrie Benefield, Gloria(John)Schlaps and Diana Cole(Nicholas Guzenski), 9 step-grandchildren and 15 step great-grandchildren also many nieces and nephews. Donald was predeceased by his parents 1 brother Bill Bucklew and his 2 sisters Betty Crowding and Arlene Sahagian. Funeral Service Monday 12:30P.M. at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr at Masonic(13 ½ Mile Rd)Warren with Rev. Robert Witkowski officiating. Burial St. Clement Cemetery with Military Honors. Visitation Sunday 2P.M. until 9P.M. and Monday 10A.M. until time of Service at the funeral home.
