I am so sorry to hear the news. Don and I had been friends since 7th grade at Hutchinson Jr. High. I remember the fun times we had in band and all the years that followed. I will miss him.

I have known of Don for many years through my brother, I got to know Don directly after attending your parents: Don & Wanda's funerals. Don had a driven personallity and after I told him of some of my goals in life, I found he was going to see to it that i made real efforts to acctually accomplish them! I imagine others had experience this as well! It's been just a short time, but Don did get me to start walking and to take more of an interest in current events. I will miss his motivational presence and some of the wild stories he would tell.

We don't even have words for the pain you have been through. It's so hard to even try to express the sorrow we feel for you all. We're thinking of you and praying for you. May God comfort you and give you the peace you need.

Scot, family, and friends from Farmer's
Although we moved away ....your family was always so good to us. I adored your mom, dad, and Scot and the whole office at Farmers. Our deepest sympathy to you and your loved ones during this time.

Scott and Angie,
We were so shocked and saddened at Donald's passing. We had come to know him well through his visits to your Grandmother here in Abilene. Spoke with him several times by phone. He had become like family to us. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.
God bless and keep you close,
Shirley & Arthur Pylant

I just learned of Don's passing today. I met Don last year through a mutual friend. I had many conversations with him over an incredibly wide range of subjects including politics, business, current events, religion, God, etc. He was very passionate about his beliefs which I always admire in a person.
