Donald J. Raupfer, 77, passed away Thursday, March 17, 2011 in Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, IN, Donald was a graduate of Central Catholic High School and worked as a Manager with Rogers Market for 40 yrs, retiring in 1989. He was a member of St. Therese Catholic Church and enjoyed family activities, flower gardening and traveling. Surviving are his wife, Karen S. Raupfer; son, Karl R. (Lisa) Raupfer; daughter, Marti J. (Rick) Foltz; grandchildren, Madison Foltz, Ben and Ashley Raupfer, Lauren (Cary) Hoghe and Heather (Gary) Hipskind; great-grandchildren, Grace Hipskind and Lily Ann Hipskind; sister; Eloise Harmeyer; and sister-in-law, Geraldine Raupfer all of Fort Wayne. Donald was preceded in death by his parents, Edward B. and Catherine Raupfer; and brother, James Raupfer. Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30am Tuesday at St. Therese Catholic Church, Fr. David Rupert officiating, with calling one hour prior. Visitation is Monday 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8pm at D.O. McComb and Sons Foster Park Funeral Home, 6301 Fairfield Avenue. Entombment in Lindenwood Cemetery, Fort Wayne, IN. Memorials may be made to the St. Therese Building Fund or masses or the Ronald McDonald House.
