Donald John O'Dell, age 83, of Cleveland, Ohio, beloved husband of 58 years of Rosemary M. O'Dell (nee Martin); loving father of Michael O'Dell of Cleveland, Ohio, Donald O'Dell (Judi) of Mooresville, North Carolina, and Timothy O'Dell of Cleveland, Ohio; dear grandfather of Heather Marconi (Justin), Abigail O'Dell, and Donald O'Dell, Jr.; dear brother of Genevieve Sajetowski of North Ridgeville, Ohio, Eileen Litke of Brook Park, Ohio, the late Melvin O'Dell and the late Harold O'Dell. Mr. O'Dell was a United States Army veteran of World War II and was retired from the United States Postal Service in Cleveland, Ohio after having worked for more than 35 years. He was also an avid fisherman and enjoyed the company of his loving family. He passed away on Tuesday, August 23, 2011. Prayer service at the funeral home on Friday, August 26, 2011 at 9:15 A.M. followed by Mass of Resurrection at 10:00 A.M. at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, Southeast corner of State Road and Snow Road, Parma, Ohio. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Cleveland, Ohio. The family will receive friends at the BUSCH FUNERAL HOME, 4334 Pearl Road, Cleveland, Ohio, from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. and from 7:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. on Thursday, August 25, 2011.
