Donald Lee Arsenault, 63, passed away April 24, 2011, in Virginia Beach General Hospital. A native of Norfolk, VA, he was the son of the late Raymond and Dorothy Arsenault. He retired from B.A.E. NORSHIPCO, where he ran the calibration lab. He served as Vice President of the Boilermakers Union Local 684. He sang with the Virginia Opera and the Virginia Symphony Chorus. He served on the High Council of the Virginia Beach Stake of the Church of Jesus Christ Latter-day Saints. He also served in the bishopric. He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Arsenault; a daughter, Dorothy Marie Fraley, husband David and grandchildren Alexus, Fox and Brandon Fraley; four sons, Donald Arsenault, Jr., Mitchell Arsenault, Matthew Kreger and James Stadler, wife Aubrey Stadler and grandson Daniel Stadler. He leaves three brothers, Raymond Arsenault, Jr., David Arsenault and Daniel Arsenault. A funeral service will be conducted Friday at 2:00 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 4780 Princess Anne Rd., Virginia Beach, VA. The viewing is scheduled from 12:45 to 1:45 p.m. prior to the funeral. The burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Neck Chapel is handling the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the Perpetual Education Fund of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, c/o Bishop John Ashby, 3308 Welwyn Muse, Virginia Beach, VA 23452.
