Donald Nathan Mazeau, 75, of Orange passed away Wednesday, November 4, 2009. Husband of Patricia Ann Koscielecki Mazeau, Donald is survived by sons Arthur Mazeau of Clinton, Steve Mazeau of Westbrook and David Mazeau of France. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren, Ashley and Christie Mazeau, Heather Mazeau Kjos and Bobby Randall, 3 great-grandchildren, Kyle, Olivia and Alyssa Kjos, 2 brothers, James and Sandy Mazeau and a sister Roxanne Mazeau Ricciardi. He was predeceased by a granddaughter, Marie Mazeau. A son of the late Francis and Zylpha Codding Mazeau, Donald was born in Milford on April 15, 1934. He retired from AT & T and was a former congressional aide for Congressman Sam Gejdenson. He was also an avid coin and token collector. Private arrangements in care of BEECHER & BENNETT-TAYLOR FUNERAL HOME, 410 Campbell Ave., West Haven. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Marie Mazeau Memorial Scholarship Fund, c/o Westbrook Foundation, P.O. Box 528, Westbrook, CT 06498.

Patty, I was greatly saddened to read of Donald's death. You two seemed so happy when I saw you at the last all-class reunion. Donald was one of my oldest friends. While I hadn't seen so much of him recently, I still feel the loss. I'm glad that you had some time to spend with him. Dick Platt
