Born October 30, 1936 in Monroe, Louisiana and passed away January 22, 2012 in Dallas, Texas. Preceded in death by her husbands, James Kelnhofer and James Ditty; mother, Vivian Minchew; and father, Charles Menard. Charlene is survived by her sister, Connie Cupit; daughter, Vickie Rodgers; son, Greg and wife Tracy McMurrey; grandchildren, Mindy Fletcher, Stephanie and husband William Hyde, Lindsey McMurrey and Ashleigh Meziere; great grandson, Teagan Hyde; step family, Doreen and Rick Hughes, Jolene and Jeff Strand, Jamie Hughes, Jeremy Hughes, Ted and Kim Ditty, Carolyn and Alan Knox, David Ditty and Jennifer Ditty. Charlene is a member of Cornerstone Family Church in Richardson. After retiring from Fuller and Parker she volunteered at the Richardson Police Department. She is greatly missed by all. Pall Bearers, Rob Schadegg, Brian Baxter, William Hyde, Ted Ditty, Alan Knox, Sam Setterlund, Alternate Pall Bearer: Herb Smotherman. Services are 12:30pm Wednesday, January 25th in Restland Memorial Chapel.
