Mrs. Donna Lynn Franck, 55, of 350 Laurel Lane, Waynesboro, PA, died Monday, January 2, 2012 at her home following a lengthy illness. Born November 4, 1956 in Walter Reed Medical Center in Washington, D.C., she was the daughter of Paul Hawkins of Waynesboro and the late Virginia Marie (Pyles) Hawkins. She grew up as a member of a military family and spent her early years living in various locations but called Pennsylvania her home. She and her husband, Ronald Dwayne Franck, were married on September 17, 1999 in Las Vegas, Nevada. She enjoyed traveling to Las Vegas with her husband and dearest friends. In addition to her husband and father she is survived by four children: Ronald Dwayne Franck Jr., and his girlfriend Jasmine Kimbrough of Waynesboro; Jennifer Dawn Bream and her husband Chuck of Waynesboro, Stephanie Jean Tubbs of Youngsville, NC, Daniel Lee Stitzer and his girlfriend Kristin Albert of Frederick, MD; four grandchildren: Sarah Tubbs, Haley Bream, Zach Tubbs, Jessica Bream; two sisters: Karen Payne of Gaithersburg, MD, Angela Connelly of Mt. Airy, MD; two brothers: Johnny Thayer of Rockville, MD, Kenny Thayer of Gaithersburg, MD; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her mother she was preceded in death by her grandson Rylynn Franck. Memorial services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Friday, January 6, 2012 in Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad Street, Waynesboro, PA with Rev. Michael V. Newman officiating. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
