Donna M. Clark, 72, of Leo, passed away Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at The Cedars in Leo. Born in Roseville, MI, Donna had been a teacher for 43 years. Thirty seven of those years were at Riverdale Elementary in St. Joe, IN, where she retired in 2005. She was a member of Delta Kappa Gamma, a Teacher's Honorary Society and was Past State Chaplain of Daughters of the American Revolution. She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Buddy; sons, Douglas Jewel of Monroeville, IN and Thomas (Staci) Clark of Grabill, IN; daughters, Nancy (Randy) Gruber and Barbara (Scott) Merkle both of Ft. Wayne; brothers, Donald Ray Jewel of Auburn, IN; and Rev. David (Rebecca) Jewel of Portland, OR; and 15 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rev. G. Raymond and Evelyn M. (Steiger) Jewel; and an infant brother, Ronald Jewel. Funeral service is 2 pm, Monday, February 20, 2012 at D.O. McComb and Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 East Dupont Rd with calling one hour prior. Rev. David Jewel officiating. Calling also from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 pm Sunday at the funeral home.
