Donna Sue Yarberry, 60, of Shreveport, Louisiana entered heaven's gates on Tuesday, December 20, 2011. She was born in Paragould Arkansas to Louis David and Ernestine (Cannon) Parker on January 14th, 1951. She was a very creative person, who enjoyed the outdoors-fishing and camping. She always excelled in her employment and was recognized for her work ethic. Donna was most importantly a woman of faith, who believed in God and trusted him for everything.
She was preceded in death by her father, Louis, her sister Sharon and her brother Gary.
Donna leaves to cherish her memory, her husband Richard; her children Michael David Cowan of Atlanta, Georgia, Richard Yarberry, Jr (Melissa) of Sardis and Daniel Yarberry (Lori) of Alexander; her mother Ernestine Parker; her grandchildren Madison Cowan, Casey, Dock, Kayla and Sam Yarberry; her great grandbaby Nadily Jo Yarberry; her brother David Parker and a host of extended family and friends, all who will miss her dearly.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Griffin Leggett Forest Hills on Friday, December 23rd with burial to follow in Olive Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12-2 prior to the service.
