Dontá Jacquile Mickens, was born on June 12, 1990 to Veronica Mickens and Johnny Rozier. Dontá entered into eternal rest on Sunday, September 11, 2011. Dontá was affectionately known as “Mickens,” he graduated in 2008 from John P. Stevens High School in Edison, New Jersey. He attended Middlesex County Community College in Edison to study Business Management. He was very ambitious at an early age. While attending school, he maintained two jobs. At the time of his passing, he was currently employed with Trezzco Trucking Services located in Cranford. Dontá was a friend to all who knew him. He enjoyed hanging out with his family and friends. He loved to play basketball and Playstation 3. Dontá was a huge fan of the Minnesota Vikings and enjoyed “trash talking” with his Dad. Dontá loved spending time with his Mom, going to the mall and buying the latest “Jordan’s”. He knew how to put a smile on everyone’s face and was definitely the life of the party. He touched so many hearts, and was always willing to lend a hand whenever it was needed.
