Dora M. Doerr, age 88, of 1209 South 29th Street, South Bend, Indiana, passed away at 6:30 a.m., on Monday, November 8, 2010, at her home. Dora was born on September 17, 1922, in Rochester, Indiana, to Raymond and Helen (Brugh) Overmeyer. Dora retired from Associates after 22 years of service. She also had been employed at L.S. Ayres, Metal Resources, and Wagers. Dora was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was very special part of her family's lives and will be greatly missed by her family and her friends. Dora is survived by her daughter, Karen Fryfogle; her grandchildren, Cindy Newman and Tim (Donnita) Sickman; her great-grandchildren, Taylor Hanson and Mackenzie Dixon; her brother, Bob (Phyllis) Overmeyer; several nieces and nephews; and her long time companion, Frederick Hachinski. She was preceded in death by her sister, Jean Shafer. There will be no visitation or funeral services. A private family burial will take place in Oak Hill Cemetery, Plymouth.
