Mrs. Dorice Louise Wilson Clayton

Dorice Louise Clayton age 73 of White Settlement, Texas passed away March 25, 2011. Born March 25, 1938 to Richard and Yevette Wilson, Sr. in Texarkana, Texas. Doric accepted Christ at age 19, in San Francisco at St. John Baptist Church. She was a member of First Assembly Of God Church in White Settlement, Texas. She was an active member of the widow ministry. She attended Mission High School where she graduated, met and married Sylvester Clayton, in 1961 in San Francisco.

To this union, one son was born, Rodney Joseph Clayton, who preceded her in death, as well as her father, Richard Wilson, Sr.; stepfather, Edd March; brothers, Aquilla (Billy) Browner, Willie J. Wilson and Richard Wilson, Jr.; and a sister, Evon Payne.

She worked so many years at Strapoflex as an accountant, she was punctual, loving, an honest women, a great mother, a wonderful wife, and the best sister ever. She could have been a teacher, because she lived for teaching the children.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her mother, Yevette March; one grandson, Montrell Clayton; one brother, Curtis Wilson; four sisters, Binnielee LaNier, Barbara Bishop, Katherin Jones and Patricia Hunter; one sister-in-law, Stephanie Clayton; three brothers-in-law, Michael Clayton, Danny Clayton and Aaron Jones; a host of uncles, aunties, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
