Dorien K. Hogan was born to Denise Hogan and Jack Tatum on August 30, 1970 in Passaic, NJ. For a brief period of his young life, he lived with his grandparents, Lewis and Annie May Tatum of Charlotte, NC. Upon his return to New Jersey, he attended Passaic High School where he graduated in 1988. He then attended East Stroudsburg University and various technical schools whereby he received certifications in the computer hardware industry. During this time, he married Kimberly Moss and had two beautiful children; Kamal and Yazmin. He was employed with the New Jersey Transit system as a Supervisor of field technicians. Dorien leaves to cherish his memory: his two children, Kamal Hogan and Yazmin Hogan; his mother, Denise Hogan Bedford; two sisters, Joycelynn Sterling and Jestynn Tatum; brother, Samuel Lewis Tatum; aunt, Shelley Dupree; Godmother, Maxine L'Abbe; fiance', Shannel Batten; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
