WINSTED – ANDERSON – Doris (Hazard) Anderson, 88, passed away on June 19, 2012. She was the wife of the late William Anderson. Born August 27, 1923 in Winsted; the daughter of the late Carl and Mabel (Dayton) Hazzard. Doris was a life long resident of Winsted working for Hudson for many years. She also served in the United States Navy during WW II. She leaves a son, David Anderson of Winsted; 1 grandchild and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a daughter, Janice Wynn and siblings, Howard Hazard, Raymond Hazzard, Merton Hazzard, Kenneth Hazzard, Russell Hazzard, Marion Godsoe, Donald Hazard and Ralph Hazzard. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, June 28, 2012 at Forest View Cemetery, Winsted at 11 AM with full Military Honors.
