Doris Crawford, 86, of Hackettstown, NJ formerly of Rahway, NJ, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 18, 2011 at the House of the Good Shepherd, Hackettstown, NJ. Born in Kingston, NY on March 29, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Asa and Florence Keppler Budington. Mrs Crawford was an office clerk for the Garden State Insurance Agency for ten years before retiring. She had enjoyed tennis, bowling and knitting. Mrs. Crawford was predeceased by her husband, Robert F. Crawford, who died in 1983. Surviving are four children, Carol Tyra and her husband Bob of Clark, NJ, Robert Crawford of Baltimore, MD, Trish Horzepa and her husband Walt of Hope, NJ, and Gerrie Collis and her husband Joe of South Hampton, NJ; nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Contributions are requested to be made in her memory to the House of the Good Shepherd, 798 Willow Grove Street, Hackettstown, NJ 07840 or the charity of one's choice.
