Mrs. Doris E. Haneline, 86, of LaPorte, Indiana, passed away on Monday December 20, 2010 at Brentwood Assisted Living in LaPorte. She was born June 1, 1924 in Bobbins, South Carolina, the daughter of Daniel P. Dubois and Leitha L. (Reid) Dubois. Doris had moved to LaPorte in 1936, coming from Racine, Wisconsin. Doris was a bail bondsman for twenty-five years. She was a member of the First Christian Church of LaPorte, Ruth Circle, OES, Lady Elks and the LaPorte Yacht Club. Doris was very involved with the church. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family. On March 31, 1945, in La Porte, IN, she married Dean E. Haneline who preceded her in death on September 6, 2009. She is survived by her son - Daniel (Jae) Haneline of La Porte, IN; and one grandaughter, Adelle Lynn Haneline of La Porte, IN. Doris was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one sister, and one brother. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind. where the family will receive friends Monday, December 27, 2010 from 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm. Services will be held at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., Monday December 27, 2010 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Everett Shattuck officiating. Interment will follow at the Kingsbury Cemetery, Kingsbury, Indiana. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Christian Church of LaPorte 610 Maple Avenue LaPorte, IN 46350.
