Mrs. Doris L. Dobrowski, of Escatawpa, Mississippi, entered heaven to be with her Lord on January 22nd, 2010. She was 68 years of age, born November 11th, 1941 in Charlestown, Rhode Island. She was a graduate of Westerly High School, Westerly, Rhode Island and Jackson County Junior College, Gautier, Mississippi, with as Associate degree in Business and Accounting. Mrs. Dobrowski served in the Women's Army Corps and trained as a stenographer. She was a life member of the American Legion Women's auxiliary, post 160, Pascagoula, Mississippi. Mrs. Dobrowski was employed by DSD division and Ingalls Shipbuilding for several years. She trained as a Cosmetologist and Estheticism and owned Beauty Unlimited and Masion de Belle Hair and Skin Clinic before retiring. Mrs. Dobrowski was a long time member of the Daughters of the King Joanna Chapter and started the first order of the Junior Daughters of the King in the state of Mississippi of the Episcopal Church. She is preceded in death by her mother, Alice Enos Day, father Ernest Leroy Day, brothers William Day and Louis Day. Mrs. Dobrowski is survived by her husband of 47 years Chester V. Dobrowski, Jr., and son Tad E. Dobrowski and wife Marie, one granddaughter Anna L. Dobrowski, two brothers, Edward Day and Raymond Day and several nieces and nephews. She was a long time member of St. John's Episcopal Church, Pascagoula, Mississippi. Viewing will be from 6 to 8 at Heritage Funeral Home, Highway 63, Escatawpa, Mississippi on Monday, January 25, 2010. Funeral Services will be at 12 noon, Tuesday, January 26, 2010 at St. John's Episcopal Church, Pascagoula, Mississippi. Internment will follow the service at Jackson County Memorial Park Cemetery in Pascagoula, Mississippi Heritage Funeral Home, locally owned and operated, in charge of arrangements.
