Doris S. Paterson(Maier), 73, of Edwards Avenue, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family Sunday, October 3, 2010 at her home. She was the beloved wife of Robert G. Paterson for 52 years.
Born in Goeppingen, Germany, she was the cherished daughter of the late Otto and Berta (Hommel) Maier.
Mrs. Paterson loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Besides her husband, she leaves two children, Deborah E. Bannon and her husband David of West Kingston and Robert G. Paterson, Jr.; four cherished granddaughters, Katie Paterson, Kristen, Jennifer and Amy Bannon.
A Memorial Service will be held Friday, October 8, 2010 at 3pm in Wakefield Baptist Church, 236 Main Street, Wakefield with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Wakefield Baptist Church Scholarship Fund will be appreciated.
