Yvonne Murray, 76, of Westville, Indiana, passed away on Sunday November 7, 2010 at her home. She was born April 2, 1934 in Chicago Heights, Illinois, the daughter of Charles OBanion and Victoria (McKeska) O'Banion. Yvonne had lived in the Westville area, since 1967. Yvonne had worked as a school bus driver for the Westville School System for thirty years, retiring in 1994. She was a member of American Legion Auxiliary of Westville. Yvonne enjoyed camping and loved being with her family. She was married on January 5, 1957 in Chicago Heights, Illinois to Thomas A. Murray, Sr., who preceded her in death June 10, 1973. She is survived by her son - Ty (Roxan) Murray of La Porte, IN; two daughters - Tammy (Mark) St. Germain of Shingle Springs, CA, Theresa Swanson of Westville, IN; daughter-in-law - Lorraine Murray of Westville, IN; twelve grandchildren - Thomas A. Murray III, Scott M. Murray, Angie A. Murray, Patricia Murray, Fred L. Ames, Kristyn M. Swanson, Jonathan St.Germain, Angie Wallen, Erik St. Germain, Melissa Lambert, Mark St.Germain, Andy St.Germain, one great- grandchild, Austin McGuire and one sister, Phyllis Gallop of Lebanon, MO. Yvonne was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Thomas A. Murray II; two grandsons, Daniel Murray and Eric Wallen; one sister and two brothers. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind. A family service was held at the Haverstock Funeral Home, with Father Ian Williams, officiating. Interment was held at the Pine Lake Cemetery, LaPorte, Indiana.
