Dorothy Clodfelter, 94, of the 500 block of Kirkwood Lane, Virginia Beach, VA, passed away Nov. 13, 2011, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Lucama, NC to the late Margaret Taylor and Ransom Lucas. Her husband Royal R. Clodfelter predeceases her. Mrs. Clodfelter was a retired dispersing officer with the US Government along with being a 50 year member of the Eastern Star Chapter # 22 and a faithful member of Thalia Lynn Baptist Church. Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Regina Marcotte; brother, Ray Lucas of Wilson, NC; grandchildren, Ashley Marcotte of Norfolk, VA, Eric Marcotte and wife Amy of Virginia Beach, VA, Michelle Marcotte of Virginia Beach, VA, Coral Marcotte of Virginia Beach, VA; great grandchildren, Autumn, Kevin, Eric Jr., and Audrina. The family would like to give a special thanks to Mother's dearest friend and neighbor, Karen Andress. There will be a graveside service held on Saturday, November 19, 2011, at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum at 2 p.m. The family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Lynnhaven Chapel Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.hollomon-brown.com.
