Dorothy "Dot" Craig, 89, passed away on January 23, 2011, at her home. She was the widow of James L. Craig, Jr., and is survived by a daughter, Katharine McCoy and husband Chris; a son, James L. Craig III and wife Janie; five granddaughters, Lisa Faulkner, Lindsay Hanelin and husband Derek, Brianne Massey and husband Mark, Megan West and husband Phil, and Madison Dennis; five great granddaughters, Hallie, Taryn, Anna Ross, Tyler, Carter-Reid; and a sister, Polly Talley of Richmond, VA. Dot was a former board member of Virginia Beach Safety Council and a former member of Thalia Presbyterian Church, and Cape Henry Women's Club. She was devoted to her late husband James Craig, Jr. and loved to travel the world, visiting their homes in Houston, TX and Athens, Greece. The family would like to thank Joan Taylor for the last five years of service as well as Brenda, Jo Anne, Dee and Charley. Services will be private.
