Mrs. Dorothy Domke Skal Hardy , 81 years old of Natalbany, Louisiana, passed away Sunday, October 14, 2012, at North Oaks Medical Center.
She was born on Wednesday, September 16, 1931, in Butler, PA, daughter of the late Frederick and Estella Elizabeth Dollar Domke.
Mrs. Hardy was the owner of Skal Dental Laboratory and the Past Secretary of LA Dental Lab Association.
She was also Past President of Catholic Daughters of America in Kittanning, PA.
Surviving are her sons & daughters-in-law, Frederick and Karen Skal, Daniel and Kathy Skal, daughter, Sandra Skal, step-son, Edward Hardy Jr., step-daughter, Rose H. Doyle, 12 grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by first husband, Frank D. Skal, second husband, J. Murphy Fabre, third husband, Lee E. Hardy Sr., brothers, Robert Joseph Domke, and William Allen Domke.
Friends will be received on Wednesday, October 17, 2012, from 8:30 am until 10:30 am at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Hammond.
Services will be held in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, at 10:30 am, with Dr. Rodney Taylor officiating.
Pall Bearers for her service will be Fred John Skal Jr., Shawn Skal, Frank Skal, Brandt Skal, and Josh Skal.
Interment will follow in the Parklawn Memorial Gardens Hammond, Louisiana.
