Dorothy E. Branning, 87, passed away Sunday, March 7, 2010 at Heritage Park Health Care Center in Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, IN, Dorothy was a long time member or First Mennonite Churh, she enjoyed crocheting and liked to make doilies and blankets. Surviving are her niece, Susan A. Horton of Fort Wayne; great-nieces, Rose Marie Abbott of Auburn, IN and Jo Dee Krowlickie of Fort Wayne; nephews Joseph Ulrey and George A. Barrone, Jr. both of Fort Wayne; great-nephews, Christopher S. Boyd of TX, Daniel L. Boyd and Ronald L Boyd Jr. both of Auburn, IN. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents Harry A. and Minnie O. Branning; brothers, Harry F. and Robert E. Branning; sisters, Betty J. Branning, Jane M. Barrone, Joan Ann Braining, Catherine B. Branning. Funeral Service is 11am Thursday at D.O. McComb and Sons Lakeside Park Funeral, 1140 Lake Avenue with Pastor Peter Janzen officiating. Visitation is Wednesday 6 to 9pm at the funeral home. Burial in I.O.O.F. Cemetery, New Haven, Indiana.
