HALIFAX- Dorothy E. Moyer, age 89, of 971 Powells Valley Road passed away on Thursday, October 13, 2011 at the Jewish Home in Harrisburg. She was born in Tower City the daughter of the late Ira and Jennie Adams Bush. She was retired from the former Bobbie Rogers garment factory in Tower City. Dorothy was a member of Halifax UM Church. She was the widow of Charles Messner and Kenneth Moyer. Surviving are her daughter Connie Shoop of Halifax, grandson Ty Shoop, granddaughter Aimee Scheib both of Halifax, 8 great grandchildren and a niece and a nephew. She was preceded in death by a brother Roy Bush. Graveside services will be held on Thursday Oct. 20, at 11:00 am at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
