Dorothy E. (Lamb) Quirke, Of Medford passed away on Monday December 21, 2009 at the Lexington Healthcare Center. She was the beloved wife of Patrick Brendan Quirke.
Born in Belmont, Massachusetts on December 12, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Gladwyn E. & Mary (Davies) Lamb.
Cousin of Judith Fitzpatrick of Millbury & Dorothy Murray of Billerica. She is also survived by many other cousins and godchildren.
Funeral services will be held from the STANTON FUNERAL HOME, 786 Mt Auburn St. (Rt 16) Watertown on Thursday December 24, 2009 at 8:00 AM. Funeral Mass in St. Raphael Church, 512 High St,. Medford at 9:00 AM. Relatives & friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours on Wednesday December 23, 2009 from 4:00-7:00 PM. Spring burial at Highland Cemetery in Carmel, ME.
Mrs. Quirke was a retired Accounting Manager with Harvard University.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory to the Alzheimer’s Disease Assoc. 311 Arsenal St. Watertown, MA 02472 would be appreciated.
