Mrs. Dorothy Faye Herbert age 85, of Forrest City, Arkansas died Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at her home.

Mrs. Herbert was born July 14, 1925 in Friendship, Arkansas. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jody B. Cook Sr. Mrs. Herbert was a Methodist and a housewife.

Mrs. Herbert married Harry E. Herbert Jr. in 1941 and he preceded her in death in 1998. She is survived by three sons, Billy F. Herbert of Forrest City, Benny E. Herbert of Palestine and Bobby I. Herbert of Forrest City; a daughter Phillis Marrow of Corinth, Mississippi; one brother Jodie B. Cook of Forrest City; two sisters, Adrene Kelly of Clarendon and Milrean Horton of Madison. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Friday, April 8, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Stevens Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Forrest Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 at the funeral home Thursday. Visit online registry at stevensfuneralhome.net. Under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home.
