Dorothy J. Carter, age 81, passed away on January 7, 2012 at Pine Acres Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Madison, NJ. Born in Morristown, NJ Dorothy was a loving mother and homemaker. She was a devoted member of the First Baptist Church in Port Murray, NJ where she played the organ and ministered through song. She was the wife of the late Ernest R. Carter Sr. She is survived by her son, Ernest, Jr. of Venice, Florida and a daughter Carol Jean of Washington, NJ. Dorothy is also survived by three sisters Virginia Cornish, Charlotte Williams, Francis Jenkins and three brothers George Jenkins, Sr., Rudolph and Ralph Jenkins.
