Dorothy Louise White age 72 of Dallas, Texas was granted her angel wings on March 2, 2011. Born to the proud parents of Frederick and Margaret White on December 15, 1938 in the small town of Hutto, Texas. Dorothy ws the older of two sisters, Linda and Patricia Hubbard; and brother, Charles White.

Dorothy established a career as a Nurse Assistant and as a caregiver in her senior years. She accepted Christ in her life in the 1980's. She was a member of several churches with her final services given to Crossover Missionary Baptist Church. Dorothy spent many years with Oneal Easter, who assumed head of the household to her and youngest son Sean in the early 70's. Even in her last days at the hospital, her love for him as strong as the day they met and she glowed with joy when he came to see her. Her best friend, Billie and her were inseparable and remind you of Thelma and Louise.

Dorothy's life seemed too short and many would have thought that she would have outlived us all due to her caring need to help others. Dorothy grew up in the worst of best of times, being a witness to segregation in the 1960's to seeing the first black president of the United States. She gave us all such courage, hope and reminded usof the preciousness of life. She loved her grandchildren and everybody else's. She spent countless hours assisting others who were sick, lost or troubled without consideration of her own health. Her goal was to point all in the direction she believed God intended through conuseling, the bible or strong words.

Dorothy leaves with fond and precious memories. Two sons, Michael Coleman and Sean Andrews; one sister, Linda Hubbard; three grandchildren, Michael Loving, Marcus Coleman and Sean Andrews, Jr.; favorite granddaughter, Bionca Andrews-Cleaves; she will be missed by a host of great grandchildren, family and friends, but happy that she has been granted residency in Heaven with our Father.
