Dorothy M. Einsel

Dorothy M. Einsel, 93, of Toledo, Ohio passed away on Sunday May 27, 2012 at her home. She was born on December 7, 1918 in Xenia, IL to Harlan and Emma (Mason) Chasteen. Dorothy was married to Charles, who preceded her in death in 2001. She enjoyed waitressing in her early years in the Toledo area. Dorothy and Charlie enjoyed the outdoors and camping, which grew out of their business selling campers and travel trailers. They made numerous friends operating a campground in Michigan. Dorothy was a member of the Ladies Eagles Auxiliary and member of Faith Community Church in Maumee. She retired to Florida but returned to be near her family. Dorothy enjoyed frequent trips to the Greektown Casino in Michigan in her later years. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles; two brothers and two sisters. She is survived by her nieces; Shirley Huber of Perrysburg, Linda Yantiss of Caseville, MI., Barbara and Doris of Cedar Rapids, IA and Veda of Flora, IL. A private funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 6, 2012 at Toledo Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be given to Hospice of Northwest Ohio 30000 River Road Perrysburg, OH 43551.
