Dorothy Schwartz, 90, of Elmer, passed away Friday in South Jersey Healthcare System-Elmer. Mrs. Schwartz was a longtime resident of the East Windsor/Hightstown area before moving to Elmer. She was an active member of St. Anthony of Padua RC Church in Hightstown. She is predeceased by, her husband Thomas J. Schwartz, and her brothers and sisters, Andrew and William Mendenko, Victoria Suleskey, Rose Kaprazewski, Lessie Glaser, Sophie Murray, Anna Thomas. She is survived by two daughters, Dolores S. Podsiadlo, Carol J. DeGroat; five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; and her brother Michael Mendenko. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11am Thursday at St. Anthony of Padua RC Church, 251 Franklin St, Hightstown. Interment will follow in Bordentown Cemetery, Bordentown, NJ. Family and friends may call 10-11am Thursday at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of the Glackin/Saul Funeral Home, 136 Morrison Ave, Hightstown, NJ.
