Barga,Dr. John E., age 91 of Springfield, formerly of Troy and Greenville passed away on January 4,2012 at hus daughter's home in Springfield. He was born September 27,1920 in Detroit,Michigan. He was preceded in death by his parents, John L. and Lenora (Goubeaux) Barga.He is survived by his loving wife, Janice(Hough) Barga,children, Susan Hillman (Springfield),Caryl Barga (Pine Hurst,NC) and John T. Barga (Tiffin,OH),grandchildren, Brian and Brock Hillman,Rick and Mark Barga and Jake Waits, and great-grandchild Darian Hillman. Dr. Barga served his country proudly in the US AIr Force during WW II,was a retired Podiatrist,member of Kiwanis Club of Troy,past president),American Podiatry Association,Ohio Podiatry Association,BPOE Elks life member #833 of Troy,and VFW #7262 of Greenville.John loved ballroom dance,golf, and playing cards. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Monday,January 9,2012 at Hale-Sarver.Friends may call on Monday one hour prior to the service (1:00-2:00)P.M. In lieu of flowers,contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or Alzheimer's Association.
