Duane was born September 4, 1960 to Duane Sr. and Kathy (Redlinger) Kearney in Lakeland, Florida. Duane grew up in Lakeland, Florida with his parents, brother Talbert Coy and sister Kerry, moving to Kennewick, Washington in 1974. Duane attended Highlands Junior High and graduated from Kamiakin High School in 1979. Duane married Connie Cranford on November 17, 1990. Daughter Haley was born June 20, 1993, on Father's Day, "the best Father's Day present ever", he always said. Son Matthew was born on June 10, 1996, and was one of his best friends. The Kearney's enjoyed camping trips, picnics, BBQ's and baseball games with family and friends. Duane was a grounds man for the Pasco School District from 1997 to his passing. He was a wonderful husband, father, brother and friend. Duane was a hard worker and a great provider for his family.
