Dustin Dennis St. Romain, age 30, departed this life suddenly on Tuesday, January 17, 2012 after suffering a massive heart attack. Dustin is survived and sadly missed by his loving and beloved wife, Ardyn Treadway St. Romain; his parents, Dennis and Yvette St. Romain; his brother and sister-in-law Robert and Missy St. Romain and their daughter and Dustin's godchild, Gabrielle Dawn St. Romain. Survivors also include a grandmother Alberta Miangolarra, grandfather Richard St. Romain, Uncles Joseph Lester Garcia, Jr., and Larry Louis St. Romain Sr., who was also his godfather, all of New Orleans, Louisiana.
He is sorely missed by his mother-in-law Tyra Caire Treadway, sisters and brother-in-law Dr. James Kent Treadway, Jr., Natalie Cross Treadway, and Elsa Elizabeth Treadway; his niece Harper Kent Treadway; his two beloved dogs Ellie and Brees and a host of devoted friends, especially Brent Bienvenu all from New Orleans, Louisiana.
Preceded in death by his grandfather, Joseph Lester Garcia, Sr., grandmother Shirley St. Romain, aunt Karen St. Romain, and father in law, Dr James Kent Treadway, Sr.
A native and lifelong resident of New Orleans, Louisiana, Dustin graduated from Holy Cross High School in 2000. He then earned a Bachelors of Arts degree in Graphic Design from The University of New Orleans in 2004. He was employed by Pel Hughes Printing. Dustin loved New Orleans and was avid fan of any New Orleans sports team, especially his beloved Saints. WHO DAT!!! In general, Dustin truly loved life and was renowned for his unique sense of humor and compassionate nature. All who knew him were enriched by his kindness, generosity, congeniality, intellect and humor. Those of us whose lives he touched are fortunate for the memories of such a fine man.
