DUSTIN "DIESEL" FRANKLIN, age 20, Georgetown, died Sunday, May 9, 2010 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Born in Merced, California, September 30, 1989 to Herbert Franklin, Jr. and Lisa Kehoe Franklin, both of Georgetown, he was a Toyota employee. He was preceded in death by a brother, Nathan D. Franklin. Besides his parents, he is survived by two brothers, Leonard Franklin, Merced, California and Jesse Franklin, Georgetown; a sister, Sabryna Franklin, Georgetown; paternal grandparents, Herbert (Anita) Franklin, Georgetown; several aunts and uncles, Matthew (Pamela) Prine, Georgetown and Debra (Doug) Brunett, Merced, California. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Thursday at Ware Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Lower Curry Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Markey Cancer Foundation, CC-160, 800 Rose Street, Lexington, Kentucky 40536.
