Dwayn Williams, 34, of the 3700 block of Palace Place, passed away March 31, 2011, in his home. A native of Roanoke Rapids, NC, he was a Petty Officer 1st Class in the US Navy with 10 years of service. He was a member of Union Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Teresa Williams; two sons, Zomas Harris and Jamar Williams; his father, John Williams of Roanoke Rapids, NC; two brothers, Darrell Williams and wife Donna of Raleigh, NC and Deneil Williams of Roanoke Rapids, NC; a spiritual sister, Monica Davis of Littleton, NC; maternal grandmother, Irma Motley of Jackson, NC; paternal grandmother, Ella Williams of Jackson, NC; two nieces, Rachel Williams of Raleigh, NC and Carmen Williams of Hampton, VA; a nephew, Darrell Williams of Raleigh, NC; and mother-in-law, Annette Deas of Orangeburg, SC. He was predeceased by his mother, Regina Williams. A funeral service will be conducted Saturday at 12 Noon at Union Baptist Church, 4608 South Blvd., Virginia Beach, VA. Burial with military honors will follow in Colonial Grove Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Lynnhaven Chapel Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.hollomon-brown.com.
