Dwight George Bostic, age 58, passed away at his home in Portland, Oregon, on Tuesday, November 16, 2010. He was born February 16th, 1952, in Bluefield, West Virginia, to Mary Etta and William Montgomery Bostic. On December 24th, 1988, he married Deborah Sue Bostic. After living in West Virginia until he was seven, his family moved to Garden Grove, California where he attended and graduated from Bolsa Grande High School in 1969. He later moved to Portland, Oregon and began his career at Boeing where he became a machinist and worked for 37 years. A soft spoken gentleman, Dwight was respected for his kind patient nature. His enjoyments in life were his friends, family, dogs, and all sorts of motorsport hobbies from classic cars, motorcycles, and NASCAR. Dwight was never too far from water, having grown up next to the Pacific Ocean around Huntington Beach, boating on the Columbia River, to a pool and hot tub in his back yard. He enjoyed visiting his Aunt "Annie", Virginia Sayers, in Garden Grove; and shopping with his wife at swap meets while vacationing there. Survivors include his wife of 22 years Deborah Bostic, son Aaron Bostic, daughters Carice Clark, Samantha Dolan, Jessica Dolan, and his nine grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother, father, sister Sarah Jane Riddle, and brother William Bostic Jr.
