E. Glynn Martino, age 85, of the Greenwood section of Moosic, passed away Sunday evening under the care of Community Medical Center's VNA Hospice Unit. Her beloved husband of 53 years, Felix Martino, died on May 25, 2000. Born in Macon, Georgia, on December 28, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Fay Longhorn Cox. Prior to her retirement, she worked for 21 years as a type setter for the print shop at the University of Scranton. Of strong Roman Catholic faith, she was a member of Divine Mercy Parish in Minooka. A longtime and active member of the former St. Mary of Czestochowa Church, she was a member of the church's Catholic Mother's Association and organized post-funeral bereavement dinners. An excellent cook and baker, her favorite pasttime was quilting with her friends. She was a New York Yankees fan who enjoyed her trips to Atlantic City and the Mohegan Sun Casinos. A loving mother, grandmother and sister, she will be dearly missed. She is survived by three children, Raymond Martino and wife Linda of Brewerton, New York, Faye Matisko and husband George of Archbald, and Mary Cicale and husband Louie of Moosic; a sister, Catherine Emilio of Macon; and seven grandchildren, Philip and Paul Martino, Jeremy, Amy and Traci Matisko and William and Casey Cicale. Five siblings also preceded her in death. A Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for Wednesday at 10:00AM in Divine Mercy Parish Church, 312 Davis Street in Scranton, to be celebrated by Rev. Francis L. Pauselli, Pastor. Relatives and friends may pay their respects at the church from 9:15AM until Mass time. Interment will follow in St. Mary of Czestochowa Parish Cemetery, Greenwood. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Glynn's name to Hospice of the Sacred Heart, 600 Baltimore Drive #7, Wilkes Barre. Arrangements, Thomas P.
