CONWAY - E. Virginia Conway "Ginny" also known as "Cookie", age 91, passed into the arms of our Lord at her home with family, close friends, and her sweet yorkie, Gracie at her side along with her angels at Heartland Hospice on Saturday, December 10, 2011. She was a resident of Albuquerque, NM since 1983 after moving from Frederick County, Maryland where she resided for 39 years. She was preceded in death by her brother, Jack Marshall of Closter, NJ; and two sisters, Charlotte Lindermann of Millville NJ, and Grace Ford of Spruce Pines, NC along with her daughter, Christy Babington, Keedysville, MD and son, Marshall Conway of Idaho Springs, CO. She is survived by her sons, Guy J. Conway and his family of Albuquerque, NM and Michael R. Conway and his family of Fort St. John, BC; daughter, Penny L. Yeatts and her family of Albuquerque NM; 12 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren. Ms. Conway was employed at Fischer Lang & Co., Frederick, MD for 19 years until moving to Albuquerque where she worked for her son at Conway Electric until her retirement. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Albuquerque. Ms. Conway was a great, devoted, understanding and loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, always there for her family and friends. The memory of her will be a very happy one. She was blessed to be able to stay in her home which she loved so much because her grandson, Jeffrey W. Hurley, stopped working to assist her during the last four years of her life. The family would like to give thanks to Heartland Hospice, Share Your Care and good friend, Molly McCollum, Engender, Inc. and Alzheimer's Association for their non-stop support and compassion. Friends may visit French - Wyoming Chapel Friday, December 16, 2011 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Services will be held Saturday, December 17, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Christ Lutheran Church, 7701 Candelaria Rd. NE, Albuquerque, NM 87110. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. For friends who wish, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 9500 Montgomery NE, Suite 209, Albuquerque, NM 87111 or to Christ Lutheran Church.
