Eddie Lee Oliver age 61 of Dallas, Texas passed away December 24, 2011. Born January 6, 1950 in Dallas, Texas to Earl and Emma Oliver. He accepted Christ at an early age at Greater New Zion Baptist Church, Dallas, Texas.

Eddie married Shirley Mae Pigg on December 13, 1994. He united with the Greater Community First Baptist Church in April 2008. He was employed many years in the trucking industry with BFI, Custom Creek and Arrow of TXI.

He is preceded in death by his parents. He leaves to cherish his memories; devoted wife, Shirley Oliver; one son, Eddie Oliver, Jr.; two grandchildren, Erica Smith and Jordan Oliver; three sisters, Margaret Coleman, Mildred Bell and Jacquelynne Oliver; two brothers, Earl Oliver, Jr. and David Oliver (Paula); a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
