Edgar William Sheppard, Jr.

Edgar William Sheppard, Jr. age 88 of Ashburn, VA died on Thursday, January 1, 2009 at his residence. He was a veteran of World War II and retired from C&P Telephone Company. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edgar William and Alta Plowden Sheppard and by a grandson Toby Maag. Survivors include his loving wife, Dorothy S. Sheppard, his daughters Donna Maag and husband Michael and Alta Schmidt and husband Peter and by his two grandsons Daniel Maag and Zachary Schmidt. The family will receive friends at Pierce Funeral Home, 9609 Center Street, Manassas, Va. Sunday, January 4, 2009 from 2-4 PM where funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Monday, January 5, 2009. Interment Arlington National Cemetery on Friday, January 30, 2009 at 2:00 PM.
