Edmond Monti Sr., 78, of West New York passed away on Saturday July 23, 2011 at Hackensack University Medical Center. He served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. John was Chief of Detectives for the Hudson County Sheriffs Office before retiring. He was Chairman of the Hudson County Housing Authority for 47 years. He was the devoted father of Edmond Monti Jr. and his wife Robyn. Loving grandfather of Christina Monti and Dominic Monti.
