Express your sympathy with flowers

Edmundo González-Correa was called by our Lord on November 11, 2010 at the age of 86. His wife of 55 years, Linette Logeman González, predeceased him in 1998.

Edmundo is survived by five children, Leila González Sullivan of New Jersey, Luis Edmundo González of Loveland, CO, Lynette D. González and Charles R. González of Dallas, James F. González of Little Rock, AR, their five spouses, eleven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Edmundo was born November 16, 1923 in Naguabo, Puerto Rico. He graduated from the University of Puerto Rico at age 18 and moved to Chicago. He met and married Linette Logeman in 1943 while attending graduate school at the University of Chicago. His career in Engineering began as a civilian member of General MacArthur’s staff in Japan after World War II. He moved to Dallas in 1964 to join Texas Instruments and retired from TI in 1988. He traveled the world while at TI establishing manufacturing facilities.

He and Linette were long-time parishioners of St. Rita’s and All Saints Catholic Churches, and were active in their bible study programs and book clubs. In his later years, he enjoyed surfing the Internet, watching Netflix and visiting with family members. His love, faith and courage will always be remembered.

Visitation will be at 7 PM, Monday November 15 at Aria Funeral Home, 19310 Preston Road, Dallas
Funeral Mass at 11 AM, Tuesday November 16 at All Saints Catholic Church, 5231 Meadowcreek Drive, Dallas with interment to follow at Restland Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society in Edmundo’s name.
