Edna Hallada, of Milwaukee; Edna went to her Lord on Wednesday, June 24, 2009, following a courageous battle of lifelong illnesses at the age of 92 years. Loving wife of Robert for almost 60 years. Dear mother of Ann and Jean Hallada (Robert Hamer). Special aunt of Suzette (Randy) Daughenbaugh, Bruce and Art Carpenter. She is further survived by other relatives and friends. Edna was a proud member of the Dorcas Society of Christ Memorial Lutheran Church. She made over 200 Teddy Bears for the children's wing at Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital and also for patients at Ruth Hospice in Milwaukee. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Soryal, Wellness Nurse Doreen Corso and Chris Cianciolo at Ruth Hospice. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 30, 2009, from 9:30 AM until the time of service at 10:30 AM, at CHRIST MEMORIAL LUTHERAN CHURCH, 3105 W. Thurston Avenue, Milwaukee. Private entombment at Wisconsin Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers memorials appreciated to the Dorcas Society at Christ Memorial Lutheran Church.
