Edward and I were roomates for two quarters of our freshman year at Georgia Tech. I remember his being a very smart and determined individual. We were again roomates after I had graduated and he was still in his senior year, his co-op experience kept him in a year longer. We kept in touch intermittently over the years, the last time I saw him was probably in 2008 when he was taking a class in Atlanta, where I was living at the time, we went out to dinner. I remember getting an e-mail from him later in 2010, probably after he was diagnosed, right after my divorce and he offered to help in anyway he could, a true friend.

My sincere condolences to the family. Sorry this is so late but I only found out through the Georgia Tech Alumni Magazine.

Annalisa and Evan, Cathy and I want to pass on our condolences to you and your family. I was at the Edison Homecoming football game last Friday night and I was proud to see you two marching on the football field at halftime.
